This coming Saturday, 10th of July is national helmet day! And in that light I got a question from a customer earlier today about fitting a helmet for her toddler. Her daughter has a small head (of course) and she was wondering if she could just use a bike helmet. Sounds tempting doesn't it? Well guess what, a bike helmet is not up to ATSM/SEI standards with regards to Equestrian sports. Be safe! Don't forget your child with a great looking toddler pony helmet!
Just to clarify, you can bike with an equestrian or horse approved ATSM/SEI helmet, but not the other way around basically.
